Hi everyone, my 10 year old male Akita Inu was found with Osteosaroma in his front left foor. We amputated and the doctors did already the first chemotherapy to my dog....but i am worried about my health living together with a dog during his chemo. My Vet never warned me about taking precautions and measures for my personal health... Thank god the dog neither vomited nor had diarrhea and i always bag his poop But he should tell me to wear gloves too and most important he should tell me to avoid kissing him near his mouth and muzzle and not let him lick me !!! Now i am trying to remember the first three days after his first chemo, what kind of contact i had with my dog and i am freaking out because i learned that the chemo could be cancerous for the people .....I let him lick my leg a little and i kissed him on the muzzle near the mouth right after his first chemo when the Vet brought him to me.... Could any suspicious contact that i had with my dog with his saliva and poop be fatal for my health ?

What is your opinion on Standard Process Cardiac support? My vet recommended this for my 16 year old dog. I feed a raw homemade diet that includes many of the ingredients that are in this supplement such as heart, liver, kidney, brain, pancreas, etc., plus a ton of other stuff. I am concerned that this supplement may overdose her on some nutrients like copper. I typically prefer single ingredient supplements that allow me more control such as those you suggested. Is an acid reflux, low acid in the stomach and if so, shouldn’t there be HCL and apple cider vinegar given? She raise the stomach acid is that safe I know apple cider vinegar is not sure about HCL and a humans take it HCL but I’m not sure about dogs.

On August 11 of my toy poodles one week anniversary of his death 2023. I got a rescue from a foster who believes she came from a puppy mill situation. I did a stool sample today at the vet and supposedly she Has caccidia detected and the count is 28. She is on a raw species appropriate diet, she drinks fresh coconut water, hemp seed, Chia seeds, pumpkin seeds now I’m grinding it up, coconut oil, kelp powder, some parsley, some cilantro sometimes sardines. She also may have anaemia because Her gums are pale. Here in the Bahamas we only have conventual vets no holistic. Thank you

Hi Dr. Woodley, Could you provide the formula or the recommended dosage amount per pound for Noromectin (ivermectin) I have the 1% injectable solution that I plan on injecting into my dogs food.

One of my rescues licks and chews her feet and legs almost constantly. Another one (still a puppy) has had skin issues since we found the litter and the Mom. I also have a lab that has none of these issue. Super high quality food with Grass Fed BARF and Beef Broth for them all. Water is filtered. Not sure how to do this test, I am in Costa Rica.

I have cats and put drops of Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in their water and they don't have fleas have done it for years

My dog doesn’t have a skin issue, but all kinda gut problems. I tried everything, and heard that Quercetin is good for gut health. I got Quercetin with bromelain, but it has rice flour, cellulose and silicon dioxide in it. How can I give this to my dog? Her stomach is super sensitive!
